After studying and working for several years in London and New York, Bartholomé Girard now lives in Paris, where he pursues a career both in higher education and artistic creation.

 

Head of the "Media and Research" programme at the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), he teaches journalism and creative writing (ENS and Sorbonne Nouvelle University ), as well as English (École Supérieure d'Architecture des Jardins ). He also teaches public speaking at the Lycée Henri-IV, and runs the CPES cultural program (Lycée Henri-IV / PSL University ), for which he designs cultural activities for 170 students.

 

Outside of his academic responsibilities, Bartholomé is a choreographer and the artistic director of ACCENT dance company. He also undertakes graphic design projects (creating websites, logos and marketing materials for companies, organisations and artists).

 

In the past, Bartholomé worked as a journalist, notably for TV channel Canal+. He co-founded and directed the cultural news website L'Intermède (15,000 monthly readers, 20 journalists) from 2009 to 2016.

 

He was the president of the national organisation SOS homophobie from 2009 to 2012.
